Script error: No such module "Banner shell". The Nieuwe Waterweg is only about 4,5 km long, not 15. You could say that west of the Maeslantkering is Nieuwe Waterweg. The Maeslantkering itself is part of Het Scheur which connects the Nieuwe Maas and the Nieuwe Waterweg. Het Scheur and the Nieuwe Maas meet at the crosspoint with the Oude Maas.
