Banner date error

The banner at the top of the article on the mobile version says 1958 Husker Dü album instead of 1985. Can someone fix that? GabenInABox (talk) 03:18, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

Terms of Psychic Warfare

possibly controversial edit

That's surely not what the reviewer meant. Among other things, it would appear anachronistic to refer to a 1984 album by a term and style that emerged decades later. I haven't read the book, but would assume that the author was essentially making up a term to describe something that wasn't quite hardcore, and not quite pop either (or poppy hardcore, or something). I think the solution is to leave the term as this is a good addition to this article and just don't wikilink it (and for Heaven's sake don't use it to add to the infobox genres!). Question: does the author use "popcore" or "pop-core"? We should probably have it here as it appears in the book. CAVincent (talk) 06:25, 20 December 2024 (UTC)

It was "pop-core" in the book. I can always add the quote to the reference if it's ever contested, anyway. Fwiw I have little to no interest in messing with infobox genres other than adding refs, I just want to write musical style sections. Have a good weekend!
