Statement based on a flawed research?

Hello, I would like to ask about the line "Nepal has consistently been ranked as the country with the lowest IQ in the world." under the Education tab. This statement has three citations, all of them basing their findings on the World Population Review, which in turn bases its findings on "The Intelligence of Nations" by Lynn and Baker. The findings in this book primarily comes from published surveys in Buckley et al., 2013; Christian et al., 2010; Jamison & Lockheed, 1985; Jamison & Moock, 1984. All of these research surveys were done in extremely rural areas around 30 years ago. Just the length of time already makes this result completely unusable, but assigning tests done in rural areas to the entire population is an undeniable case of sampling bias. In fact, in the published work, they mention that they did not add any urban samples because they did not have any.

To be honest, I do not really know if editing in Wikipedia can be done by pointing out fallacies in published research. Typo on Koppen climates on Nepal

It already wikilinks to Ranger band, which is just a redirect to a section of Rubber band which discusses ranger bands. There is no article titled "Ranger band". Helpful Raccoon (talk) 18:25, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
