Edit request

The following needs changing: 'A similarly named but different-tasting product, with a recipe more similar to the original American product[8] has been sold in the U.K. under the name "Mountain Dew Energy" since 2010 and in Ireland since the spring of 2011.' This because U.K. is incorrect. It should be UK. Would someone with editing access change it? Thanks. 2003:D3:FF45:E1A6:2F26:F249:6D47:3D13 (talk) 04:20, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Earliest Origin of Name

I found a reference to "Mountain Dew" that dates further back than the song in the "Origin" section. The clipping is on the Virginia Chronicle in the Winchester Gazette, August 3, 1822 Page 4, Column 1 "After the nuptial knot has been tied, and ample libations of the mountain dew distributed to a numerous party assembled on the occasion, two Hibernians (former lovers of the bride) being doubly inspired by the enlivened spirit, determined, in their frolicsome bumour, to disappoint the bridegroom, for one night at least, or the company of his dear Judy, and proceeded forthwith to lay violent hands upon her. https://virginiachronicle.com/?a=d&d=WG18220803.1.4 LewisMoten (talk) 15:48, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Logos

i think the logo in the infobox should be both the us shortened and the international expanded logo, similar to the 7up article, due to it being the concurrent logo in the united states since 2009; the bottle image can remain though Zeebeethedog (talk) 16:05, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Logo is about to change again and will be just Mountain Dew.

Under "promotions" -> Taco Bell's Mountain Dew Baja Blast: Change "This was to celebrate the drink's 20th anniversary..." to "This was to celebrate the drink's 10th anniversary..." It was the 10th anniversary not the 20th (came out in 2004). 67.66.140.26 (talk) 05:35, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Tartrazine

The fact that this additive is poisonous is not a myth or legend. The new HHS director is working to ban it's use in America. 2600:387:15:A31:0:0:0:6 (talk) 19:02, 23 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
