Translation
When we mention a skill of a person, shouldn't we develop to include the bare minimal information ? for instance, the article mentions she is a translator among other things, and nowhere is her language or languages even mentioned, neither her translation contributions or activities. I had to google the information and found she is fluent in French, and translated some books. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blue Staar (talk • contribs) 19:51, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Except Sometimes, dedication of Don't You (Forget About Me) to J.H.
Obviously the dedication of "Don't You (Forget About Me)" on Except Sometimes refers to John Hughes, but is there an explicit statement that we could cite here in the article? --Khajidha (talk) 18:14, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
"She has been regarded as one of the greatest teen stars on numerous occasions."
I removed this as its a total opinion as opposed to factual researchable data. How does one even determine who's a great teen star. However I'm sure she's a wonderful person and fantastic actor.
Radio
I heard an interview she gave many years ago on BBC Radio 4 stating that she liked to do radio plays because her (grand?)father was blind. It was a good many years ago now and I cannot remember any details, but does anyone have any more info, or any references, on this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Starfiend (talk • contribs) 10:31, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
