galtee festival

Is a festival celebrated in Mitchelstown where someone is crowned queen or king of the galtees often its someone who did outstanding work or someone who is very well known a small funfair from fry's fun fair is there nicknamed 'the merries.' --213.94.234.143 (talk) 20:10, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

John Mandeville

Doesn't John Mandeville deserve his own page? His uncle, Jame's O'Mahony does and John was of similar/related importance. John also has his own statue and notable gravestone. He was also matyred by the British. He shares lineage with the O'Mahony's and the Mandevilles.Link8r (talk) 16:16, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
