Unbalanced lead
The lead states that he was appointed Head of the National Reform Council of Ukraine but the body of the article has only one sentence on that, referenced by one page no longer available and one behind a pay all. There's no Wikipedia article on this organisation. By contrast the body of the article has a lot of information about his current incarceration in Georgia but there's nothing in the lead. I'm sure that he is a very controversial figure in Georgia but it would be helpful if the lead and the body of the article could match up. I am a visitor to Georgia and had no idea he was incarcerated until I looked up this article. Nine-and-fifty swans (talk) 01:24, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- Noticing in general the lead is oddly long - could use a trimming. Lucksash (talk) 09:25, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
What the fuck?
That's a looooooooooong lead. Nobody is gonna read that. Synotia (moan) 20:53, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
Dubious grammar
The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia filed criminal charges against Saakashvili over allegedly exceeding official powers during the 2007 Georgian demonstrations, as well as a police raid on and "seizure" of Imedi TV and other assets owned by the late tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili, the embezzlement of GEL 9,024,367 owned by the Special State Protection Service for his personal purposes, exceeding official powers in the episode of battery of Valeri Gelashvili and organization of a grievous bodily injury, and exceeding official powers in the episode of pardon in prior agreement of the individuals tried for Sandro Girgvliani's murder.
The grammar of the "as well as" item strikes me as dubious, and even if grammatical, "organization" also fails to respect parallel -ing verb structure. — MaxEnt 04:37, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
