Fertile Crescent

In addition to being badly phrased, this (the 3rd) paragraph seems a fairly random interpolation of dubious real relevance, unless we're going to talk about all the various different "bits" of the Middle East as here defined. I suggest that it should go.

Daniel Pipes

What is he, really, succinctly? A polemicist? A scholar? A commentator? A student of Middle Eastern affairs? To judge from his page here and other debates, he doesn't seem to be accepted as a serious scholar the way Kramer and Said are. Palmiro | Talk 16:32, 19 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
