Michelagniolo?
Is it worth mentioning the form of his name that he invariably used was "Michelagniolo"? The Enciclopedia Treccani, which is generally thought of as a reliable source, states: "Scrivendo al padre, il 1° luglio 1497, l’artista ventiduenne si firmava, con una formula che sarebbe poi divenuta consueta, «Michelagniolo scultore in Roma» e nel contratto stipulato l’estate dell’anno dopo." https://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/michelangelo-e-la-pittura-un-itinerario-biografico_(I-classici-della-pittura)/ METRANGOLO1 (talk) 19:57, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
Useless short references
There are several references to "Goldscheider" in the text, but there are two works by Goldscheider in the list of Sources. So nobody can tell which work is intended by each reference. DuncanHill (talk) 22:20, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Template:Respond I've disambiguated the Goldscheider cites with full standardized ref templates with urls so that other editors can verify the changes I've made. I haven't found a cite of Goldscheider's Michelangelo: Drawings (1953) in the article, but I've left in the "Sources" section for now. Tomorrow I will see if it or a later edition might be used to support statements in the text. Thanks for pointing this out. Carlstak (talk) 03:59, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
