Too Hot to Handel

I am watching a performance on PBS right now of 'Too Hot to Handel,' which is a gospel-music rearrangement of Handel's oratorio. This version has apparently been in regular performance since the 1990s, first in the United States. The televised version was recorded at Royal Albert Hall in London, conducted by Marian Alsop. Should this version be included in this article?

Perhaps it should have its own article. Because this article has not even much room for Handel's music. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:08, 18 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Added links to two gospel arrangements of the Messiah in the See Also section. Transformasian (talk) 23:14, 18 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
I added the internal link to the navbox at the bottom, removed the external link, and dropped the whole section. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:16, 19 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

2024 book

Since there are no places in the article to identify books which aren't sources, I'll put the info below to see if anything from it can be used in the article.

untitled

I edited this page because as a reader, I was momentarily confused by the use of only a surname for the first mention of a significant person (Hogwood). Common usage in publishing is for the full name of a person to be given at the first mention, allowing the last name only in further references to that person. I explained that in my edit. Your "undo" gives no reason for "undo"ing. That's not courteous. Seauton (talk) 21:17, 22 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I misunderstood your edit summary, please check. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:01, 22 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
