does anyone know where to find a link to tolson's work? specifically i am looking for excerpts from or the entire _libretto for the republic of liberia_. that may be the most important under read poem of the 20th century...

Melvin Tolson is buried in summitt woods cemetery in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He is not buried in Langston ,Oklahoma. I know this because he is buried next to my mother-in-law Olivia Jordan( who attended wiley college and taught at langston University when Tolson was there —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.68.42.186 (talk) 14:40, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

His headstone in SUMMIT VIEW CEMETERY (please note correct name) in Guthrie, OK, indicates that he was born on 4 February 1900, not "6 February 1898" as shown on the page. Organizing

Is it true, as depicted in the film The Great Debaters, that Tolson was, at least for some time during his life, a communist and labor organizer? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 23:23, 20 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
