Mehri is NOT Eastern Semitic

This assertion of ancient Eastern Semitic ancestry is simply nationalist propaganda. If you have a legitimate Semitic reference then give it here. Otherwise I will continue to undo your groundless, nonlinguistic edits trying to claim an ancient Akkadian heritage for the Modern South Arabian languages. This is akin to saying that English is really descended from Sanskrit instead of Proto-Germanic. (Taivo (talk) 17:34, 18 March 2008 (UTC))Reply

I'm still waiting for that legitimate reference on your claim that the Modern South Arabian languages are Eastern Semitic rather than South Semitic. Until you provide a legitimate linguistic source for that claim, I will continue to revert your edits claiming such. (Taivo (talk) 01:23, 1 April 2008 (UTC))Reply
Undone your silliness again. (Taivo (talk) 05:49, 5 April 2008 (UTC))Reply
Stop reverting, let someone add some information (if they have any) to backup claims. -- Al™ 04:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
This is an unscientific, undocumented claim that is being added. It has a political purpose and not a linguistic one. The person who continues to add this unscientific drivel has no scientific source for the material. If they had a scientific source, they would add a reference when they add the material. Since there is no scientific source, they cannot. (Taivo (talk) 05:06, 18 April 2008 (UTC))Reply
Let them add their scientific reference here. I will look at it. If it is legitimate, I will let the edit through, if not I won't let a linguistic article be used for nonlinguistic statements. (Taivo (talk) 05:42, 18 April 2008 (UTC))Reply
Once again reverted unsubstantiated and unscientific notion that Mehri is close to Akkadian. (Taivo (talk) 11:12, 6 December 2008 (UTC))Reply
In the article about Modern South Arabian languages, it claims that they are Eastern South Semitic, which seems weird to me - is it related to what's going on here? --Mahaodeh (talk) 09:19, 25 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
