Propose to delete redundant sections of this article

I propose to delete the sections "Basic mathematical operations" and "Basics of 2D array". The information in these sections is already covered, in a better and more encyclopedic style, in the articles Matrix (mathematics) and Row-major order. Does anyone object, or have other suggestions? I propose to delete the entire article because it is not general enough (a matrix is a 2-dimensional array) and because it is mostly redundant, e.g., with Array data structure and Row- and column-major order, but this should be done very carefully to avoid losing any bits of unique information, but these should then also be checked (especially the claims in the 3D graphics section, which seem very suspicious!). — RFST (talk) 07:04, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
