use of "cultured stone"
this page uses "cultured stone" as a synonym for manufactured stone. I'm not sure if this is good because cultured stone is a registered trademark of owens corning, while manufactured stone can refer to st croix, eldorado, and many other brands of artificial stone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.124.93.115 (talk) 16:39, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Tags
There are some tags on the article. Can they be fixed? What is the layout problem? Hexedwoozy (talk) 09:37, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- I concur that the layout issues are not apparent. I'm removing that tag, & the "unfocussed" one because there has been no attempt to explain them. Otherwise the article looks fine as it stands -- except that it needs more references. And maybe a section on the history of masonry, if one can be written. -- llywrch (talk) 15:41, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
How to handle duplicates between Masonry and Stonemasonry article
Masonry is largely divided between stonemasonry and brickwork, with the use of mortar as their main commonality. The stonemasonry article has a long history section, whereas the masonry article does not. Is it good to summarize the stonemasonry history to be used directly in the masonry article? Or is it better to rewrite the masonry history from scratch, interweaving between stonework and brickwork and their evolution? I noticed that Stonemasonry is in Wikiprojects Crafts, and masonry is in Wikiprojects Architecture, so there can potentially be a perspective difference there.
