Religion?

Does anyone know what religion Mary Travers had been? Someone who has a website listing famous Jewish rock stars includes Peter Yarrow (who is Jewish) and her. I don’t say this is impossible, but I just find it unlikely. For one thing, a Jewish couple naming their daughter “Mary” would have been very unusual and neither of her parents' names sounds Jewish either. Also, I don’t imagine there was much of a Jewish community in Louisville at that time. Does anyone know for certain? Thanks.HistoryBuff14 (talk) 13:20, 28 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is a nice picture at Mary at the Library of Congress but I can't tell if it is OK to post here. I am confused by the usage guidelines for the image at LOC. Any help? Thanks. --CDA 15:38, 6 March 2015 (UTC) [1]Reply

Could you give us a link to the picture? It is likely public domain, but it would help if we could take a look at it. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 20:09, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
