Crucifixion was apparently practiced in feudal Japan but in a different form where the victim was stabbed with a spear rather than being left to die. See the crucifixion article. Supposedly they found it a particularly apt punishment for dealing with Christians. DopefishJustin (･∀･) 22:49, Jun 14, 2005 (UTC)
