Questionable facts
- There's a lot on this page that is poorly-sourced, and appears to have been written by or on behalf of the person himself. I'm a fellow at Oriel and have never heard of the chap. A search has turned up nothing apart from a bit of teaching, not lecturing, at a summer school. I've also found no evidence for many of the other claims on the page. This could do with a good tidy-up, but I'm new to wikipedia and don't want to rock the boat by making changes myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.1.246.64 (talk) 07:31, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

relationship with Oriel College, Oxford
The article claims that Almond is "a lecturer in Modern History at Oriel College, Oxford", with no source cited. Furthermore, the page [Category:Fellows of Oriel College, Oxford] claims that Almond is also a Fellow of the College (again, no source). However, Oriel's own website makes no mention of Almond anywhere; his name is absent from their lists of Honorary Fellows, Fellows Emeritus, Staff and Faculty. Can anyone provide reliable evidence that Almond actually is a lecturer at Oriel? If not, that claim needs to be removed and his name stricken from the Category.
