Too much unexplained, unanalyzed quotation of primary textes, not enough reception, analysis, critique. 2A00:20:6005:536F:2D4A:4EBF:C171:8E63 (talk) 12:13, 12 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Pseudocriticism

Even the "Criticism" section is nothing but victim posturing. "[S]ections of the left began a campaign against Silo", "conservative sectors of the Catholic Church accused them": i.e. he's being bullied by bigger organizations. And the source cited in both cases is not critics, but a publication of the cult itself. This article needs to be taken down until it gets a Neutral Point of View. Link rot

The sentence in the lede "many see him as a thinker and philosopher" (many=Who?) is now citation-needed. I tried to check whether the source cited was neutral or more propaganda – there are two references, and both of them are 404. Wegesrand (talk) 10:26, 17 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Maybe shouldn't have used the accented character in the page name? I'll change that now. I'll also make a Silo page that links here.

oops, Silo goes to grain silos. Need to work on disambiguating.

Siloism perhaps?

Deleting links to defamatory websites

Hmmmm. Whoever deleted the links to the defamatory websites about Silo is ill-advised in my opinion. It will only lead to a war of reverts and re-insertions. I suggest that they are just restored and left alone. Let people read it and decide for themselves. Deleting the links suggests those who follow Silo have something to be ashamed of - even if it is a load of rubbish.Tonyr68uk

12th October - Seeeee. The reverting war has already started.Tonyr68uk I'll put back in the other website that was added.

30th march - I've deleted one of the diffamatory links because doesn't exist anymore. I'm collecting also a lot of links about siloism, humanist movement and silo's message. I want to add it because I think that's not fair how the list is presented now. 3 sites against them and only 2 sites on the pro side are not fair when this three links are the only ones that exist and we have LOADS and LOADS of humanist, siloist and silo's message sites. It's simply not representing the facts. Echetto

The Criticism and influence section is full of weasel words to say the least.

"In spite of this, he was always able to reach the common people to whom his message was directed" - what is that, seriously? This sentence definitely isn't something that could be supported with reliable source, looks like pure POV instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ondrejpar (talkcontribs) 17:05, 5 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
