Bracetti's age
I have encountered another source (school brochure) stating that she was born in 1843; a discrepancy of 18 years. Sings-With-Spirits (talk) 13:46, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, but there must be a typo in the brochure either that or the person who wrote was unaware of her date of birth. A quick google search will provide numerous reliable verifiable sources (see: Mariana Bracetti - Google search which clearly state that she was born in 1825. Take care. Position and size of photo
Since The Flag of Lares is a significant subject in this article, I increased the size of the photo which depicts the flag.
I also tried to re-position the photo on the left side of the page, but the margin of the photo abutted right onto the text, and it looked much too cluttered.
If another editor can properly execute this (ie, re-position photo to the left, and establish some space around the photo's margin ), I think it would be an improvement.

More information about Mariana Bracetti:
I wanted to just added a little bit more information on why she was called the "golden arm" and bits of information I didn't see in the article, such as follows... " She was a Puerto Rican woman who together with her husband fought in the struggle for independence in Lares. She was called “el brazo de oro” [golden arm] because of her unlimited energy. For her role in the struggle, she was imprisoned. She sewed the first flag of El Grito de Lares." [1] Mss97 (talk) 09:21, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Mss97
