I felt that Ms. Higgins needed to be in Wikipedia, but didn't have the time to re-write a new article. Please feel free to edit this to original content. WikiDon 20:32, 17 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

I checked out the link to her husband. It is to s.o. who is NOT barried at Arlington.

Something is screwed up. I don't know that is real or right.

It appears that the William E. Hall wiki article referenced is to a US Navy officer who won the Medal of Honor. As Higgins's husband is referenced as a US Air Force General, it would appear that they are two seperate people. I have taken out the link.--TGC55 (talk) 00:29, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
In her entry, it states her husband was a Major general, USAF, but he was a Lt. General according to his own page and his grave marker. 38.100.26.202 (talk) 13:46, 12 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

biblography

Why is there no biblography? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.137.177.20 (talk) 14:05, 7 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sources for the article can be found at Marguerite_Higgins#Notes and in the references section just below that. SpencerT♦C 21:54, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cause of death - where contracted?

In the Death section it is mentioned that "while on assignment" Higgins contracted a tropical disease. Where was she on assignment when this occurred? It would improve the article to include the location. --TGC55 (talk) 10:01, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

War in Korea

I noticed there is no mention of her book:

"War in Korea (1951, Garden City, New York) The report of a woman combat correspondent"

Leishmaniasis

Why did she die of it? Was there no known effective treatment at the time? Apparently there are effective treatments now for the lethal form (visceral leishmaniasis). Or was she not diagnosed in time? 62.73.72.3 (talk) 22:59, 29 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
