"Marjorie"

Yes, "Marge" is a common nickname for "Marjorie". It does not follow that everyone called "Marge" is named "Marjorie", especially in a cartoon.

Is this confirmed in the series or in a reliable source? - SummerPhDv2.0 16:59, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

SERIES 1: Episode 13. Homer calls her Marjorie, and it is stated a few times over the series, her name is Marjorie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.14.178.20 (talk) 12:06, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

This was confirmed in "Mother Simpson" [1] -
Homer: I don't like your attitude, you water-cooler dictator. What do you have in that secret government file anyway? I have a right to read it.
Bureaucrat: [spinning monitor around] You sure do.
Homer: [reading] "Wife: Marjorie. Children: Bartholomew, Lisa" -- aha! See? This thing is all screwed up! Who the heck is Margaret Simpson?

Add "Fictional female rapists" category

Should the category "Fictional female rapists" be added to the article ? Marge once raped Homer in the canon episode "The Strong Arms of the Ma". The One and Only Brett (talk) 12:15, 7 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
