Who care about Pearl Jam
I'm taking out the pearl jam reference because it is utterly irrelevant. The thin premise that brings it to this article is thin by even those standards. The songs bear no relevance to this subject matter beyond their combined title, "Mamasan trilogy", simply containing the word.
I'm assuming you're joking about "mama" being english. I'm sure you know that such words as "papa", "dada", and "mama" are independently shared by many cultures because they're the results of some of the earliest vocalisations a child makes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.73.46.236 (talk) 06:41, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

- Is it confirmed that "mama" is actually an english borrowing and not a native term? IIRC "mama" or variations of it are found in pretty much every language as a baby talk word for mother; supposedly it derives from babies smacking their lips together to elicit breast feeding. --86.135.183.127 (talk) 01:17, 23 June 2008

Korean words
When I was in the US military, we used to call elder Korean men we knew "ajossi" (invariably pronounced AH-cha-shee or AH-ta-shee). I don't know if this has any bearing on the article, but it might if it expands further. -Rolypolyman 15:59, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
