Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?

Internal link is wrong

Skull Cave goes to the wrong article. So does Island House. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 01:45, 2 February 2008 (UTC)StanReply

Questionable edits

I reverted a questionable edit from an unregistered user, who seemed to combine everything into the geography section and omitted the demographic section. I was met with a bizzare comment on my own talk page:

== Mackinac County, Indiana ==

You reverted an update on this county page w/o reason. I am re-installing it, because many small communities need to be added, the county officials need to be updated, and several small cleanups should be made to the article. You said the update was NOT standard format. Unfortunately, there is no one "standard", but the revised layout is in conformance with most other Indiana county layouts. If you still feel the need to reject this update, please confine yourself to only those changes which are most galling to you, and leave the rest for their updated information. Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.245.211 (talk) 01:12, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

  • Discussion should be made at the article's talk page, not on user talk pages. —Notorious4life (talk) 01:08, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

I'm not sure what this user is trying to say or what state they are in and what format they are referring to, but it distorted a lot of contents of the article. After I reverted their original edit, I received the comment on my talk page, and I re-reverted the edit once more. —Notorious4life (talk) 01:19, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

More History

Census records from 1880 indicated the "Village of Mackinac" was located within Mackinac County and Holmes Township. I assume this township is now defunct, and it would be nice to mention it along with any other information about historical township locations. There were only 5 townships mentioned in that census. See also Mackinac Island, Michigan#History which has a bit more information on this point. Miqrogroove (talk) 14:30, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
