The wiki text is very similar to that on the London Library website (as linked, history section) - it looks like there may be a copyright issue here. Do we have permission to use the text?

Leading literary institution

I'm not happy with the description of the Library in the lead para as "the UK's leading literary institution". What does that mean? What's it being compared with (national libraries, universities, PEN International)? Is there any objective standard being used? Or is it somebody's subjective opinion? - in which case a source should be cited. GrindtXX (talk) 18:03, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
