NB I wasn't logged in for the rewrite! I have rewritten the article to include the following:
- the position of the EKR in the story of the LCDR
- full dates for openings etc; and dividing different sections from each other
- places amended to railway station - it IS an article about the railway after all!!
- details of the line (eg tunnels)
Also:
- In some cases the line opening were slightly incorrect, eg the Sheppey line went to Sheerness - the later opening of the station at the latter replaced the original terminus; similarly some lines were open before stations along it were (Dulwich is an example).
- I have also cut out the later dates beyond 1899, since the LCDR was then no longer a separate entity: it ceased as such in 1899. The article is specifically LCDR.

The Camberwell: Divisions of the New Borough (Map) Ordnance Survey, 1885 (in the House of Commons Library) shows Penge East as Penge Lane (and Penge West as Penge). When were these changed to their present names?Bebofpenge (talk) 02:17, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
