Pronunciation
What is the American pronunciation of her name? I think it's Template:IPAc-en or something similar, althought someone in Italy here thinks it is Template:IPAc-en.--Carnby (talk) 19:09, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- She pronounces it Template:IPAc-en. Adam Bishop (talk) 12:37, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- Adam's right, which I say as a New Yorker where she used to be in the news constantly. μηδείς (talk) 22:44, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Script error: No such module "protected edit request". Just a quick edit - Under MUSIC - Barbra Streisand does NOT have an EGOT. She has never won the Tony award. She did not win for Funny Girl - she lost to Carol Channing in Hello Dolly. 100.2.66.182 (talk) 12:14, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Is the intro summary editorializing?
There are a lot of claims being made that aren't clearly substantiated:
- "she is known for her energetic stage presence and her powerful mezzo-soprano singing voice" [by whom?]
- "Her concert performances at Carnegie Hall in 1979 and 1987, and at Radio City Music Hall in 1991 and 1992 are recognized among her most successful." [by whom?]
- "Best known for her Academy Award-winning performance in Cabaret (1972), [....] Best known for her renditions of pop standards, Minnelli's early 1960s pop singles were produced to attract a young audience" [how is she best known for pop performances and her Academy award?]
- "Minnelli returned to the concert stage in 2002 with Liza's Back and was an acclaimed guest star in the sitcom Arrested Development between 2003 and 2013." [acclaimed by whom? the series is acclaimed but was Liza highlighted?]
Any thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:7C10:A330:843:8638:E03A:60C0 (talk) 02:47, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
Who Wrote This?
Last sentence in third paragraph: "On television, had a career resurgence recurred as a recurring guest star on the sitcom Arrested Development (2003–2013)."
Seriously? It's not even a complete sentence. What was the editor trying to say? Jazzjazzz (talk) 06:02, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- I have added the word "she" so that it makes sense. HiLo48 (talk) 06:26, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- it's still exceptionally poorly worded. I'll fix. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 18:28, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
