Script error: No such module "Banner shell". Some distinction ought to be made between authors who are known primarily as short story writers -- where the short story was the primary expression of their craft -- and novelists who also wrote short stories. The former would include people like Raymond Carver, Harlan Ellison and Bobbie Ann Mason. The latter would, IMO, include people like William Gibson.
