UWM

United Weapons Master, contrary to its own article, is not a martial art. It is not a specific style, at least not anymore than MMA. It is a platform for weapon-based fighting arts to be practiced competitively against each other. That isn't the same thing as a separate martial art in itself. Removed Fighting Styles

I noticed that over the years, several fighting styles, like Zen do Kai, have been removed. Why is that?

Alphabetical

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this list flow better if it was adjusted to an alphabetical format? I argue this because I don't think there's a sane way to list martial arts strictly by their geographic places of origin since many martial arts, especially non-Asian ones, are more so tied to cultural groups rather than countries. It also just cuts down on potential riffraff on which martial arts are listed where.--Amelia-the-comic-geek (talk) 01:30, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Changed format

Why is Africa, Asia and Europe all clumped into one category? This is ridiculous, whoever can change it, please change it back to when every continent has its each section. Afro-eurasia is so weirdly strung together that it's become irritating to read through, it was easier when each had their own tab. 2A0A:EF40:32D:B01:C8D3:D998:6F9C:E6FA (talk) 06:15, 12 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
