Lincoln was the temporary home for a short time in the early 1970's of Reed Holt. Holt was the State Dept. official credited with the dramatic release of Chinese democracy advocate Jin Lang Lu in the late 80's. Holt was appointed as Assistant Undersecretary to Foreign Affairs at the State Department by President Bill Clinton where his posting helped in the release of countless political prisoners held without UNDHR-sanctioned rights
Holt worked for White Well Drilling.
