Talk:Lifeform

Term origin?
WordNet defines as "the characteristic bodily form of a mature organism". But, was life form/lifeform in usage anywhere prior to ~1965? Tempting as it may be to credit the term to Star Trek: The Original Series, I just want to be sure before doing so. knoodelhed 07:43, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
Merge with organism?
Shouldn't this article be merged with organism? - Wintran 02:15, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, it should, and in fact it was already merged in 2006. I have now restored the redirect. -- Petri Krohn (talk) 08:42, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
