The Liberal Party are no longer supporters of economic liberalism, they are right-wing socialists
There has been a significant shift in the economic ideologies of this party, which have been influenced by the Nationals to some extent. This party now supports compulsory acquisition of land to build state-owned nuclear power sites, and they also have proposals to introduce forced divestment powers for many industries in Australia’s free market including but not limited to supermarkets, aviation and retail. This significantly shifts this party’s overall position towards right-wing socialism and populism, with a major increase in support for economic intervention. - Unless there has been any media coverage from reliable sources, you should not add that information. Adding this information without a source would violate WP:V, which says that all content you include on Wikipedia must be verifiable, preferable using an inline citation. I’ve just had ChatGPT and a quiz tell me the party was founded in 1945.
Article says: Formed 13 October 1944… The only other date that has been cited for the founding of the party is 31 August 1945.
It seems;
13 October 1944, party officially founded, though not yet named.
31 August 1945, party formally announced and named.
