Lhasa → Chengguan District, LhasaChengguan District, Lhasa – The content of this article covers only Chengguan, which is just one of the districts of Lhasa (a prefecture-level city). Lhasa → Chengguan District, LhasaChengguan District, Lhasa – Article is only about one district of the city of Lhasa. After the previous RM the article name was moved to current title by a sock in 2021. It is also not in line with other language versions. Note: While I think I support this move, the previous RM close was overturned at MRV (Wikipedia:Move_review/Log/2017_August#Lhasa). I think that discussion is worth a read, it seems the consensus was for a merge/rescoping of this article rather than just moving one or the other article. On second thought, the subject of Lhasa (city) is a humongous region, about 60x larger than just this city. I'm not sure how to solve this and will have to think about it. Toadspike [Talk] 22:43, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

I wonder if we could merge this entire article into Lhasa (city) and move the result back to the title "Lhasa"? That's basically how Chongqing works. This case is more complicated, though, because it seems like nearly the entire urban area is within the Chengguan District of Lhasa. Toadspike [Talk] 23:04, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

• Oppose. Prior extensive RMs determined that when people refer to "Lhasa" they mean the urban core, not the vast prefecture-level city which covers a lot of the rural hinterland.
