Existed before 9 AD

According to [1], this legion may have existed before 9 AD, was originally stationed at Sabine, and was possibly identical to the Legio II Gallica (no article on that yet). JRM 01:05, 2004 Dec 5 (UTC)

Isca Dumnoniorum

This legion was stationed at Isca Domnoniorum (modern Exeter) from 50 to AD75, according to the page on Roman Exeter and corroborated by archaeology lectures (at Exeter University). In AD75, the legion relocated to Isca Augusta (mordern Caerleon). Suggest this page is corrected by someone with Wiki experience (i.e. not me!). Matt S 212.140.139.225 18:53, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Legio II Augusta?

Is there anyone in the world who would call this legion "Legio II Augusta" when writing or talking in English? Surely the article needs a name we would actually use? Moonraker2 (talk) 11:17, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
