Statement on Leeds in England

Template:FYI This page states that Leeds, England also has a neighbouring city named Birmingham - they are actually approx. 93 miles apart. Ygoloxelfer 12:54, 29 January 2007 (UTC).Reply

Was Leeds, Alabama named for Leeds, West Yorkshire, England or Leeds, Kent, England?

06 AUG 2014, This city was named for Leeds, West Yorkshire. Just as the Birmingham in England gave Birmingham, Alabama it's name, Leeds, WY, England gave this city its name, for they are both mass producers of limestone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanhunterjackson (talk • contribs) 02:54, 7 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
