- I see no one has replied to this in a very long time, and the article is still here. Good! This is a very different article from wire, as wire is a generic interconnect, usually on a large (by microelectronics standards) scale. A lead is attached to a specific electrical component (which I believe is clear in the article. Yanroy 21:15, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
