Most of the editors are probably well aware (as it should be mentioned on his list of accomplishments article) but perhaps not so for the general reader - LeBron James is the sport of basketball's all-time leading scorer, and not just for the NBA. At least a minor sentence such as the following

Also, it is under discussion at the NBA wikiproject on whether to allow any mention of "greatest" in the leads or otherwise.
