Lane centering

The new rage is lane centering tech. Autopilot, Propilot, toyota has lane tracing assist, 2019 ford suv is going to have it. Should we create a new article for this or add to existing article? Daniel.Cardenas (talk) 05:28, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Since 2020, name of UN (UN-ECE) regulation is "Automated Lane Keeping System". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.199.97.84 (talk) 18:29, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Allows unassisted driving under limited conditions

Added text: "Allows unassisted driving under limited conditions" in https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lane_departure_warning_system&diff=prev&oldid=600817583

This might be ambiguous as long as you did not define unassisted driving. By unassisted driving, did you mean:

  • a mean (such as in reg 130) to manually deactivate the assisted feature?
  • a kind of autonomous driving system such as Level 3?

Also, note that some people oppose unassisted driving to using driver assistance. https://lindseyresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/NHTSA-2019-0037-0015-IIHS_Study_on_Driver_Disengagement_-_Reagan_et_al_2020.pdf 77.193.104.36 (talk) 14:30, 21 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
