Jones County

I did a little research, and from what I can tell Lamar County is not a separate county from Jones County established in the same area, but is a re-established Jones County under another name. It seems that the County government counted to function while the County itself was de-established. [1] [2]. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 20:14, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi, can somebody please check the website link? Apparently lamarcounty.us is abandoned, there is just automatically created text on that site. I went to atlasalabama.gov to find the county website link, and it gives tuscaloosachamber.com, which seems strange to me, but I can't check because it says "can't be accessed from my location" (I'm in Europe) Thanks! Addition: tuscaloosachamber.com is a redirect to westalabamachamber.com, but is that a county website of Lamar County? Iovis Fulmen (talk) 18:57, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
