2009-12-12: As with many pages on this site the information contained on the La Honda page is often incomplete, very subjective or flat out incorrect.
Eg: in the Notable residents section:
Neil Young lives further north - closer to Kings Mountain Ken Kesey is no longer a resident - he moved to Oregon a long time ago and has since passed away Paul Vixie lives close by but outside the Post Office zip code for La Honda Richard Allen Davis lives at San Quentin State Prison, courtesy of the State of California
In the introduction: The 747 prefix is unique to the AT&T landline system (unless a customer asked to transfer their number to a new service provider). New phone services from VOIP providers will have a different prefix - including service from Verizon, who now provide cellular service in La Honda.
Why was the Landmarks section removed?
The La Honda Winery's vineyards are not in La Honda. There are other wineries and vineyards in La Honda. 69.236.78.63 (talk)
I'm planning to work on this. Anyone's contributions are welcome! Jbetak 16:27, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Vixie lives up in Skylonda, not La Honda proper, so I edited out LSD comments about him, which are unverifiable and chronologically impossible. It's not nice to name names of La Honda residents, either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.213.217.230 (talk • contribs)

History
It would be nice to see some history on the town here too. If nobody else is working on it, perhaps I may if I have time? Jooojay (talk) 21:46, 3 August 2017 (UTC)

Notable Residents
Rather than all this moving around, adding+deleting people based on who moved away or who's dead or not, we could instead amend the section title to "Notable Residents - Past and Present", with a brief text after their name explaining their status/relation to living in the town. For example:
* Ken Kesey, notable author, owned a home in La Honda in the 1960s and '70s, though he later returned to Oregon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrennodAloisi (talk • contribs) 22:07, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
