I notice in the history that an anon posted saying they were a former Daily Egyptian reporter, and that they thought the accusations against the reporter were premature. This message was deleted a day later. Having read the actual articles on the subject, this comment seems right to me, and statements like "Brenner and Reynolds blame each other for conceiving the hoax" are misleading. Brenner, apparently, denies having known it was a hoax at all. Reynolds admits it was a hoax, but blames Brenner as the mastermind. The symmetrical phrasing seems misleading to me. john k 22:36, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
