Script error: No such module "Banner shell". A recent BBC Scotland programme cast doubt on the hell translation of Hourn.
'Not connected to the UK road system' - Google Maps shows a road connecting Inverie to Strathar on Loch Arkaig. But perhaps that is just a track or path? Guyal of Sfere (talk) 11:29, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes - the road becomes a track as soon as you cross the Inverie River. The OS Map will give you a much better impression of the realities. Ben MacDuiTalk/Walk 16:54, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Succession of owners?
The article has the land being "sold by the MacDonell family in 1856, passing into the hands of an Ayrshire ironmaster, James Baird of Cambusdoon." Then in 1948 it was owned by the second Baron Brocket. What happened between the two dates? Gordon Findlay (talk) 19:17, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- Between James Baird's ownership of Knoydart Estate and the 1980s sale to Philip Rhodes, there have been a number of owners, either side of Brocket's ownership, who should have an historical mention. See:
