I added the Devanagari. Are Keshava and Keshav (or Keśava) alternate names or alternate pronunciations, like Sanskrit vs. Hindi, etc? Khirad 07:46, 26 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

They are alternate pronunciations, I believe. The final a in Sanskrit words is normally dropped in Hindi unless it would be difficult to pronounce without it (eg. Krishna). --Grammatical error 07:25, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merge this article with "Keshava Namas" article

It looks like this stub should be merged with the "keshava namas" article. There is a significant overlap between the two articles. The "keshava namas" article is a more general description of the names of Vishnu, while the "Keshava" stub is just a brief description of that name. The length of the "keshava" stub is small enough that merging wouldn't significantly change the "keshava namas" article.
