Commas?

Is there a reason that no commas are used in the number formatting in this article? I didn't want to just go changing those, if it is some sort of cultural thing that I'm not aware of... Commodorepants 04:40, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kartuzy County is a county in the Pomeranian Voivodship, whose capital is Kartuzy.

This makes is sound like Kartuzy is the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodship. If that's not the case, a better way to phrase this would be

Kartuzy County, whose capital is Kartuzy, is a county in the Pomeranian Voivodship of Poland.
