Moved / removed
Moved to June 12:
- 1912 - Carl Laemmle creates Universal Studios
Nope - that was on June 12 [1] --mav 04:15, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Removed:
- 1952 - Television broadcasting begins in Canada, at Montreal, Quebec.
1952 in Canada gives a September date, and from what I can tell that is correct. --mav 04:15, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Removed:
- 1954 - U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy charges that Communists have infiltrated the Central Intelligence Agency
It did happen, but I could not be confirmed it for this date. --mav 04:15, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Useless external links
1st link: June 2: http://www. ilsonline.it/ seems to be non relevant advertisement for online language school
Needs articles:
"Fast Eddie" Parker Frederick Mellinger
Crusades
By Thomas F madden states that Antioch was breached on June 2.Tourskin 04:01, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
St Erasmus to St Elmo
Why was the link to St Erasmus piped as St Elmo? Why the change? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 11:15, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
P.T. Barnum
Removed the 1835 entry to "P.T. Barnum and his circus start their first tour..." Barnum's first exhibition as a showman was exhibiting Joice Heth, a Black slave. She made her first appearance for Barnum at Niblo's Garden in New York on 10 August 1835. It certainly is not June 2, and it certainly is not a "circus". (see [2].) Racist and grotesque, but that is all. - Tim1965 (talk) 22:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
