Torma = Törmä? which is Finnish surname

I think that why there is not lot of information about Julien Torma or his relatives it`s because searching has done only in France and wrong name. Last name, long long time ago I think was written: Törmä. Törmä is Finnish surname. 2001:14BA:23FA:1900:F5A8:1FA9:1C58:7D93 (talk) 16:28, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I just wondered about this (uncited) passage: Template:Tq If there are three people who were born in France in the middle of the 20th century bearing the surname Torma, where are the earlier ones? The surname must come from somewhere, presumably the parents? Your comment reminds me that immigration is the only rational explanation for this. So it might well be a Finnish name that was adapted to French (at least for the recorded births). --Florian Blaschke (talk) 06:42, 1 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
