Later biography

There is a more recent major biography (2017), which is highly regarded by nautical historian acquaintances (though outside my field), apparently drawing on newly available family material and other previous overlooked sources. No doubt this will help interested editors improve this article. Canadian historical good

New account of death?

Apologies if this has been talked to death, but a new book (King's Sailing alone, Viking, 2024) cited an account that was new to me, given by Edward Rowe Snow, claiming to have identified a rough location of a collision and possibly the ship. Snow seems to have a large bibliography, and I'm not sure whether citing King's third or fourth hand version is worthwhile. Any opinions from more experienced Wikipedians, or sailing buffs?
