distance of 50 blocks?

Ricardo Flores said that police found date rape drugs in his daughter's car, parked about fifty blocks from the hotel where she died.[85]
Script error: No such module "citation/CS1".

Is there any other source for the mentioned "50 blocks"? I know that the CNN article mentions it, but any Peruvian source? Honestly, how likely is that piece of information: 50 (!) blocks is not exactly a common measure of distance? More so, if you have a look at the map (just search for the hotel mentioned in the article), you see that there isn't any straight street or axis in Lima = nothing where 50 blocks could be counted. So it seems quite odd to "measure" distance in non-existent blocks as opposed to km, miles, etc. Anyone finding a secondary source that is likely not to have copied the information from CNN (or Wikipedia) nor used the same source / news service that CNN may have used? Wondering if this makes him a serial killer? 57.135.233.22 (talk) 08:23, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
No, the general consensus is three separate killings for that designation. I do think we need to rework the lede a bit in light of this info. The correct noun is "murderer" in my opinion. However, I think this causes us to including the convicted case in the lede and not Holloway, when the latter is certainly the root of greater notability.
