Quick Facts

Quick Facts dropdown (?—sorry not sure what to call that) isn't expanding. Not sure what's up with it but it's not working SaucySkeptic (talk) 05:40, 17 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

My bad. It's working now. SaucySkeptic (talk) 21:47, 17 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Gacy Painted Skulls

A message to @Kieronoldham and @Nikkimaria
I clearly disagree with the fact that Gacy did not paint skulls on death row. I even read the reference and other sources and all of them said that he painted lots of skulls, including a skull from Jeffrey Dahmer, titled “Dahmer skull.” Sold for around $2,000. Other paintings he painted not listed include: Mickey Mouse, some landscapes of mountain scenes and birds, and himself. The skulls should definitely be included since they were many painted unlike the rest where there were just one. Hope this helps and I can also send screenshots if you need proof that I read it. Please reply ASAP - @TheWolverineScientist500 TheWolverineScientist500 (talk) 04:12, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi TheWolverineScientist500, the issue is not that he didn't paint skulls, but rather that we don't need to list out everything he painted. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:17, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Roger that. Maybe cause it would be excessive detail to the article? Just confused. TheWolverineScientist500 (talk) 04:31, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's correct. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:33, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
He also painted lots of clowns, lots of the seven dwarves, etc. Cake (talk) 13:19, 17 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

The handcuff trick

As I understand, this too was a direct influence from Dean Corll. Not just the torture board. The key in the back pocket was the trick for Corll. Gacy used the clown tricks to supposedly do it better, hide the key between his fingers and so forth. Cake (talk) 13:19, 17 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Should we add this robert piest foundation photograph?

This is a photograph of Robert Piest's mother and sister announcing the Robert Piest Foundation that I found in a 1979 Chicago Tribune article (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0b/Chicago_Tribune_Sun_Apr_15_1979.jpg). Should we add it this article given its relation to Gacy's case? Or is it not a good fit here? Randomuser335S (talk) 02:05, 16 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
