Talk:John Major's Cabinets
From The Creator of 'John Major's Cabinets': I used one source- 'The Autobiography' by John Major, which contained an appendix listing his cabinets.
I think the pages should be merged but Major Ministry is far better, both because of the layout and links, and because 'Major Ministry' is a more appropriate name (constitutionally, they were not 'John Major's Cabinets' but the Queen's, as all ministers are appointed by the Crown on the PM's advice). Definitely support a merge into that page. Peeper 17:39, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
I think that you're right constitutionally right but most people would search for John Major's Cabinets, I think, since Ministry implies all the ministers, not just the Cabinet, surely?
I've moved the material from Major Ministry to this page and redirected that page there. The creator of that other page is credited in the edit summary. Kcordina Talk 09:05, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I hate to do this but I need to move it back. If you look at Category:British ministries, they all have the "x Ministry" format. --Woohookitty(meow) 08:07, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
