Of Irish Descent?

I would have to locate the reference but I believe the Dewey's are of Irish descent, though I don't think like William James of Scots-Irish descent. Does anyone have information on this or I might be able to find it and add it? I'm thinking it might not be important to mention in the article in the way of genealogy of the migration of the Dewey's (if there is one), but just along the lines of wikipedia categories which are found at the bottom of each article. -- Teetotaler 18 January, 2015

His trip to Japan was very interesting

He considered the people to be polite, but was also critical of the nation's political structure and called for better foreign intervention. It was basically an early example of having what was considered to be a good and pro-democracy society question authority.[1]68.47.64.121 (talk) 14:18, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

The “overriding theme of Disney”

I assume this is a mistake and the sentence was meant to reference Dewey, not Disney. 141.140.253.14 (talk) 18:37, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Article issues and classification

This article has several issues.
  • Unsourced sentences and paragraphs,
  • Multiple single-sentence paragraphs, some unsourced, some with 25 or fewer words.
  • Unsourced quotes. This "may" seem argumentative but the presentation of the "Logic and method" section shows there is a lack of text–source integrity.
  • An overabundance of Primary sources.
  • Further reading- 35 links!
There are seven entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.

Nuri Ja'afar
